Energy Service Group (ESG), located In Houston, Texas was founded In 1984. The company has been providing Engineered Heating Products to a variety of industrial clients Including OCTG processors.
ESG designs, manufactures and services custom industrial furnaces and ovens for all process applications.
The Company is a full service operation that retrofits, rebuilds, repairs and provides parts for all makes of custom and standard furnaces and ovens. In addition,ESG designs and installs control systems including, instrumentation, control panels and PLC systems.

About the owner
- The current owner, Eric Olafson, purchased the business in 2005. Mr. Olafson’s educational degree is in metallurgical engineering from the University of Utah,with an emphasis on process engineering. His work history has been both in primary metal production along with operations of heavy industrial plants.
During his time at ESG, his emphasis has been on quality improvement in the Quench and Temper of Pipe and Tubing. The work that ESG has completed has shown up in the understanding of the quench phenomena and resultant change in the quench design. Improvements in the furnace design has led to improved uniformity and quality
